About “The 25”
One problem with many grammar classes is that they focus on the idea of the grammar, but have very little focus on actually using the grammar. This means that by the end of the class, the students still cannot produce with it.
“The 25” approaches grammar in a game-based, production format. In this class, it is assumed that the students have a basic foundation of English, and the class helps to solidify what they have learned about parts of speech before, fill in the gaps in knowledge, and actually spend a significant amount of time practicing and producing with the language.
By practicing and producing with the language for a lengthy portion of this class, students will be able to make more significant progress in the foundation of their oral English, and have fun doing it!
This is a great review game to whip out for a larger class!
This presentation includes:
- A basic grammar introduction with examples
- An elicitation question
- 25 most common adjectives
- 2 production games with examples
- 3 closing discussion questions
*Please note that all presentations have been made in such a way that they are not editable. This is done in order to ensure consistency in look and function, as well as protect the work that I have put into them. Thank you for your understanding.
