Opening Discussion Question:
With the push of a button, we can destroy an entire city. That is the power of having a nuclear arsenal, and the United States unleashed their power on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II. Now, a developing country known for causing trouble is trying to develop their own nuclear arsenal, and this is making many other countries very nervous.
With this in mind, many people would like to completely destroy all nuclear weapons. What do you feel are the pros and cons of doing this?
